Terms of service

The CNXDrive website is operated by CNXDrive. These terms cover searching for and booking self-drive cars, booking private-driver trips, requesting quotes from shops, and using the scam-check page.

Self-drive: CNXDrive is a marketplace between you and verified rental shops. The cars belong to the shops, and the rental contract is between you and the shop on the OCPB standard form. The shop is responsible for the car, the handover and performing the rental contract. CNXDrive takes the deposit, manages the booking and helps coordinate if problems arise.

With a driver: CNXDrive takes the booking and assigns a driver who holds a public driving licence and insurance covering paid passengers.

• The price shown when booking is the total you pay. Checkout splits the amount paid through CNXDrive, the amount paid to the shop at pick-up, and the security deposit
• Once you press book the price is held for 15 minutes; after that you need a new price
• A booking is confirmed when the deposit payment succeeds, with a booking number starting with CD (rental) or CWD (with a driver)
• You choose the car model; the shop assigns the exact car up to 48 hours before pick-up

• The deposit is paid online through CNXDrive's payment provider
• Self-drive: the rest is paid to the shop at pick-up, together with the security deposit shown when booking. The shop refunds the security deposit on return subject to the car's condition and the rental contract
• With a driver: the rest is paid in cash to the driver on the day. With several vehicles, pay each driver the amount for their vehicle

The driver must be 21 or older with a licence valid for the whole rental. Foreign drivers need an International Driving Permit. After the deposit, you must send photos of your ID card or passport and driving licence by the time shown (48 hours before pick-up). If the check does not pass, CNXDrive cancels the booking and refunds the deposit in full. Original documents must be shown at pick-up.

• Self-drive: cancel 72 hours or more before pick-up for a full refund of what you paid; less than 72 hours, no refund
• With a driver: tell us at least 24 hours before the pick-up time to cancel or change
• Cancel through the CNXDrive team via the channels on our contact page, quoting your booking number. The team will confirm the cancellation and any refund with you

If a shop cancels a confirmed rental booking, your booking stays confirmed. CNXDrive finds a car of the same or a better class from another partner shop at the same price, at no extra charge. If no car can be found in time, our team contacts you and refunds what you paid in full.

Shops selling on CNXDrive must hold valid first-class insurance. Some shops offer packages that reduce the excess. Cover details and exclusions are shown under Key terms before you pay — for example, no cover for drink driving, drivers not named on the contract, leaving the chosen areas, or not telling the shop within 24 hours.

Quote requests must be sent at least 6 hours before pick-up. Verified shops in that province make the offers, and you can choose one until 3 hours before pick-up. Shops don't see your name or phone, and you don't see the shop's name, until you choose and pay the deposit. From then on it is a normal rental booking under these terms.

Listings on the scam-check page come from reports our team has checked against evidence. They help you decide; they are not a legal ruling. Finding no listing does not guarantee a shop is safe. A shop that believes a listing is wrong can respond through the link on the listing.

The verified badge means our team checked the shop's documents and contact details; it is not a guarantee of service quality. Do not submit false reports — they may be unlawful.

Give accurate, up-to-date information, use the car in line with the rental contract and traffic law, and do not misuse the website — for example by submitting false data, attempting unauthorised access, or scraping the site with automated tools.

CNXDrive is responsible for its own services as the law provides. For self-drive rentals, the shop is responsible under the rental contract, and we help coordinate and follow up when problems arise. These terms do not limit your rights under Thai consumer protection law.

These terms are governed by Thai law. We may update them and will show the last-updated date at the top. Confirmed bookings follow the terms in force on the booking date.
