Rent a car in Chiang Mai with peace of mind, before you pay a baht

CNXDrive is built on a rental management system that Thai shops use to issue the standard rental contract of the Office of the Consumer Protection Board (OCPB). Partner shops run their cars, bookings and contracts on it, so a booking made on CNXDrive lands directly in the shop's system — no back-and-forth chat to confirm.

Shops selling on CNXDrive send documents for our team to check: the owner's identity, the bank account that receives money, and a match against shops reported for scams. The badge lasts one year and is suspended automatically if one of the shop's channels matches a published scam report or the shop changes its PromptPay account.

The price you see when booking is the price you pay — no hidden fees. Checkout shows exactly how much you pay through us, how much you pay the shop at pick-up, and the security deposit the shop refunds on return. Once you press book, we hold the price for 15 minutes.

If a shop cancels a booking you have paid a deposit for, the system sends an urgent job to partner shops with a car of the same or a better class that is free that day, at the price you already paid. If no car is found in time, our team contacts you and refunds you in full.

Pick a trip package or build your own route and get a price that includes the driver and fuel straight away. Drivers we accept hold a public driving licence and insurance that covers paid passengers. Pay a deposit online and the rest in cash to the driver on the day.

Before paying a deposit to any shop, search its name, phone, bank account, LINE or page link on the scam-check page. It is free and needs no account. Every published report has been checked against evidence by our team, and we never reveal who reported.
